Stillworks Texas was born from family — and built for families. For more than twenty years, the Briggs family has called the Texas Hill Country home, spending holidays, birthdays, and long summer days on the river together. Those memories shaped our lives and inspired us to create a place where other families could make their own. Stillworks is family-owned and operated, rooted in the Briggs family’s vision to build a gathering place that feels welcoming, familiar, and grounded in community.

Our distillery stands on family land, just steps from where generations of our relatives have lived and gathered. That sense of closeness is woven into everything we do. Inside our 9,000-square-foot facility, our whiskey is crafted and bottled here in Driftwood, with every barrel selected, blended, and finished on-site to meet the standards we set for our brand.

Whether you're here for a quiet pour, a family afternoon on the lawn, or live music under wide Texas skies, Stillworks Texas is a place to gather, slow down, and feel at home — just like we always have.

Jason Kowalkowski

VP of Operations

A father of two and longtime Austin local, Jason has spent more than 15 years in the city he now proudly calls home. After graduating from the University of Texas, he built a successful career with Callaway before transitioning into the whiskey industry, where he discovered a passion for the craft. Now, as VP of Operations at Stillworks Texas, Jason brings a blend of operational know-how, genuine curiosity, and a deep love for learning the whiskey world from the inside out. Married to his high school sweetheart and fully woven into the Briggs family, Jason is a steady hand behind the scenes. When he’s not at the distillery, you can find him fishing on the Guadalupe River or playing with his two daughters — the unofficial mascots of Stillworks.

Bailey Briggs

VP of Marketing

A UT graduate with a foundation in journalism, events, and digital marketing, Bailey spent six years in Dallas building brands, growing businesses and producing large-scale markets and events before returning home to Austin to help grow her family’s legacy. As VP of Marketing, she leads the voice, vision, and community presence of Stillworks Texas. Bailey loves all things social media, a good TV binge, and exploring Austin’s food scene to gather inspiration for what she can bring to the distillery. She’s also proudly obsessed with her doodles and her nieces, who bring just as much energy to Stillworks as she does.

Davis Tucker

President

A University of Texas alumnus and a longstanding figure in Austin’s craft-beverage scene, Davis brings more than two decades of brewing and hospitality experience to Stillworks Texas. He is best known as the founder of the beloved Austin establishment NXNW (North by Northwest), where he built a reputation for quality, consistency, and community. As President of Stillworks, Davis guides the strategic vision of the distillery with the same passion that has defined his career. Outside of work, Davis loves spending time with his daughter, Max, and can often be found racing his bike through the Hill Country, soaking up the outdoors that keep him inspired.
